About Our Products
Seed cycling is a gentle, nutrition-based practice that pairs specific seeds with each phase of the menstrual cycle. Each seed delivers unique vitamins, minerals, and healthy fats that align with your body’s natural hormonal shifts.
- Follicular Phase (Days 1–14): Flax and pumpkin seeds are taken to support healthy oestrogen metabolism and preparation for ovulation.
- Luteal Phase (Days 15–28): Sunflower and sesame seeds are added to support progesterone and ease common premenstrual changes.
This simple rotation nourishes your body throughout your monthly rhythm.
Our blends are pre-weighed, ground and blended from 100% organic seeds, prepared in small batches to preserve freshness and nutrient quality. This saves you time while ensuring maximum absorption and convenience.
Yes — all our seeds are sourced from certified organic farmers with Soil Association certification. While we are still working towards full organic certification on packaging, we never compromise on quality — only pure, toxin-free seeds are used in our blends.
Our blends make seed cycling simple, consistent, and effective. By providing phase-specific nutrients, they may support:
- Healthy hormone balance
- More regular menstrual cycles
- Easing PMS symptoms such as bloating, cramps, and mood swings
- Energy, mood, and skin health through nutrient support
- Transitions such as puberty, fertility, perimenopause, and menopause
- Overall reproductive health and natural wellbeing
Each seed in our blends is chosen for its unique nutrient profile, which supports different phases of the menstrual cycle:
Flax seeds (Phase 1) – Rich in lignans and omega-3 fatty acids, which may help support healthy oestrogen metabolism and overall cycle regularity.
- Research shows lignans can influence oestrogen pathways and omega-3s play a role in reducing inflammation and supporting reproductive health.
Pumpkin seeds (Phase 1) – A natural source of zinc and magnesium, important for ovulation, hormone production, mood, and easing menstrual cramps.
- Studies link zinc with egg quality and fertility, while magnesium supports muscle relaxation, sleep, and mood balance.
Sunflower seeds (Phase 2) – Packed with vitamin E and selenium, antioxidants that help support progesterone production, reduce inflammation, and ease PMS-related mood changes.
- Vitamin E has been studied for its role in luteal phase support, and selenium for thyroid and immune balance.
Sesame seeds (Phase 2) – Provide calcium, iron, and beneficial fats to support energy, bone health, and ease PMS-related fatigue, cravings, and digestive discomfort.
- Research links adequate calcium and iron with reduced PMS symptoms and improved energy regulation.
By cycling the seeds — flax and pumpkin in the follicular phase, sunflower and sesame in the luteal phase — you provide your body with the nutrients most suited to each stage of your cycle. This gentle rhythm mirrors the body’s natural hormonal shifts, offering structured, phase-specific support that many women find helps them feel more balanced and consistent month to month.
While more studies are needed on seed cycling itself, there is strong nutritional evidence showing that these key vitamins, minerals, and healthy fats contribute to hormone metabolism, inflammation regulation, and reproductive wellbeing.
Phase 1 (Days 1–14): ground flax and pumpkin seeds. These support healthy oestrogen metabolism and prepare the body for ovulation.
Phase 2 (Days 15–28): ground sunflower and sesame seeds. These support progesterone, reduce inflammation, and help ease common PMS symptoms.
By rotating the blends, you give your body the nutrients it needs at the right stage of your cycle.
Yes. Seed cycling can still be practiced even if your periods are irregular, missed, or absent. This is often the case during times of stress, with conditions such as PCOS, or during life transitions like perimenopause when hormones can cause unpredictable cycles.
If your cycle is hard to track, you can follow the moon cycle instead:
- Phase 1 (Flax & Pumpkin): New Moon → Full Moon (about two weeks)
- Phase 2 (Sunflower & Sesame): Full Moon → New Moon
This rhythm mirrors the body’s natural hormonal shifts and gives you a simple structure to follow when your own cycle isn’t consistent. Many women find that using the moon cycle helps them stay on track with daily nutrients and brings a greater sense of balance.
While seed cycling is designed to support female hormonal cycles, the seeds used are nutritious and can be beneficial for anyone. Men can simply mix and enjoy both blends daily without alternating phases.
